Mount Korab

  Mount Korab is the highest mountain of the Republic of Macedonia and Albania, its peak forming a frontier between the two countries. The Korab mountain is adjacent to the Sar Mountains. The highest point of the Korab Mountains is the peak Golem Korab, 2764m. In 1996, a precise satellite measuring was executed, and a new height of 2864m was realised. Solunska Glava

Solunska Glava (2540 m ) is the most remarkable alpine object located in the central part of the country, on the mountain Jakupica. In fact, Solunska Glava is the highest pick between 3 massifs- Dautica (2178m), S of Solunska Glava, Karadjica (2472m), on the NW and Jakupica (2112m), on the SE. As a trainee or a member of IAESTE Macedonia, you can create an account by filling your information in the registration form.

It's Summer Reception time!

4 weeks since the opening of this SR season, 10 trainees so far. It has been amazing, exhausting, sleepless, fantastic !

A trainee says: "Skopje- unique because of all the history that is found throughout the modern day city.
Started with Buskerfest - international street performing festival. 25 music and acrobat performances. Value of street, promotion of Macedonian performance. National dances, Skopsko beer, IAESTE - part of it!
Anybody mention Havana? Parties, dancing, live rock music, IAESTE - rocks in there! 
Too excited? A weekend in Kriva Palanka solves the "problem". Monastery St Joakim Osogovski, exploring Kuklica, stay in touch with the nature, guys cooking. IAESTE- simply enjoyed it !

A weekend in Bitola is a discovery of the history of Heraclea, the beautiful Natural Park - Pelister, and of course - the famous street "Shirok Sokak" and the culture of "going out for coffee" in the most "posh" city in Macedonia

Bitola (Macedonian: Битола) formerly Monastir or Manastir is a city in the southwestern part of Republic of Macedonia. It is located in the southern part of the Pelagonia valley, surrounded by the Baba and Nidže mountains, 14 km north of the Medžitlija-Níkiborder crossing with Greece. Dispersed along the banks of the Dragor river at an altitude of 2,019 ft (615 m) above sea level at the foot of Baba Mountain and spreading on an area of 1,798 km² with a population of 122,173, the city is an administrative, cultural, industrial, commercial, and educational centre. It is an important junction connecting the south of the Adriatic Sea with the Aegean Sea and Central Europe. It is known from the Ottoman period as "the city of the consuls", as many European countries have consulates in Bitola.
