International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience
IAESTE Macedonia is an independent, nongovernmental, nonpolitical, volunteering and student organization which enables technical faculties students’ exchange for completing a student internship. The organization is a fulltime member in the International IAESTE organization. IAESTE Macedonia enables science, engineer, technical and applied arts’ students a paid technical internship in the field of their studies. IAESTE Macedonia counts around 120 members per year.
From the World to Macedonia, and from Macedonia to the World. Friends, laughter, fun, travel, unforgettable moments, cultural exchange, practice in renowned companies in over 90 countries that are part of the big IAESTE family are just a tiny part of the things IAESTE offers to students.

Don’t take our word for it
Have you ever dreamed about riding an elephant in India? Or maybe try surfing on the coast of Portugal? How about eating some of those delicious Belgian waffles? Or you would like to relax on the coast of Brazil? I can only describe those things with only 1 word – IAESTE!
Having never been part of any organization before my Bachelor, the experience I acquired exceeded my expectations. I organized (inter)national events, successfully lead the organization, made friends for life, lived and worked in a foreign country with people from different cultures – all this in a period of 3 years. To this day, I cannot fully grasp the impact and benefits IAESTE has provided me with.
Revealing and considering the value of something different, willing to new practical experiences that could not be gained from faculty, looking forward to new international friendships and adventures – that is what IAESTE is made of!
